Overclocking GTS 450

Hi guys,

I am hoping to overclock my newly bought GTS 450 DDR3 1GB Asus graphics card.....

I have bought this from EPSI and jus wanna knw how to overlock it to increase the performance.....

Please let me knw whether it harms the card, will it overheat or decreases the life span and whether it cancells the warranty....If you knw how to overclock and if u have done so please help me coz im new to OC....

Is furmark a good software to test the card...

you can't increase the frame rate by overclocking just your graphic card like that way, you need to concern about the overall performance of your system beside most of video games demand a good processor. but if you still want to overclock make sure to find a tool like Rivatuner or Asus Smart Doctor

then go through the Shader Clock, Memory Clock, GPU Clock and increase the current value by +5% ,don't forget to do it a bit by bit.. in each milestone make sure to do a GPU stress test to verify the selected Clock values are compatible with your GPU..
