dnt go aurvedic mchn.. just do physiotherapy every time u can. nt only mornin evenin.. ask him to move any part of the limb if he can, toe etc. u will see the movemnt. give the medics as prescribed... nurses help u neh. mobilisatin is essential to prevent bed sores laga inna kenata kiynda k. diabetics tyenm sugar blnda one sugar adu wennda hodana. hoda unama exercise krnda one. stop smokin etc.. two wks wge yaddi movemnts hariynda puluwn.

Thanks machan, yes we trying to do the same even before this doctors told to move . no diabetics machan, he only have high blood preassure around 1xx something. as nurses no help they only giving away the medicines not even helping to move a muscle. only me or my bro do the chores or this Therapist guy do in mornings after flirting with nurses.
its the situation of government hospitals.

Well ayurwedic is a hit or a miss. most of the practitioners have no idea about bio chemistry.. their treatments are based on generations of trial and error, where as western medicine is well documented, tested and sound.
always it's best to follow "Known" "tested" "proven" "documented" "standard" "scientific" medicine.

if western medicine don't have a cure then it's worth giving ayurvedic a chance but when you do have a standard tested proven treatment, you should always follow that.

    25/% agree, 75% not.
well there are those ayrvedic books (puskola books) which were written generations ago. if the authors didnt know about bio chemistry (not as we know in western medicine), how did they manage to cure ppl?

How could you say that Ayurvedic medication is unproven? This so called western medicine was introduced probably 150-200 yrs ago, but Ayurvedic medication has been practicing since the first born of as we called human.
Just because it is not approved by so called western medication, you just cant ignore it nor you can say it is unproven.

ayurvedic is not a hit or miss machan
the problem is people who don't know anything about ayurveda become ayurveda doctors (hora weddu)... and this is the problem in SL...

but there are ayurvedic medical colleges in borella, yakkala etc, every year people graduating from them and become ayurvedic doctors... and there have been such colleges during ancient times as well.. if you study our history, those students have carried out experiment using bodies of dead animals etc... and they have documented their findings/medicines in 'puskola potha'.. some of those books are still remaining

some of western medicines are actually borrowed from studying the medicines used in ayurveda and then making them synthetically in labs... people who know medicine know this

so if you find some reputed medical practitioner, ayurveda is better than western medicine for these kind of treatments... coz the medicines don't have side effects...
