If anyone needs more tips I can give , just that I am little lazy to type:P

I once gave few tips(I typed them, not a in a special thread). Especially about how to manage the time to study, choosing ur intervals, shift & all:D

One more thing, I don't know the exact truth of it, but I guess it won't hurt trying it:D

It is practices that while writing u can byheart stuff more easily than by just reading:D I once saw in a magazine that while u listen, hold ur fingers like the way u hold ur pen while u write. U know with the finger tips of thumb, second & middle fingers. In that way u can memorize more:D Don't go on & ask me for a scientific explanation, I just said what I saw in mag. I really don't think it'll hurt by trying it;):D

Yes machang theres a truth in there lord buddha also keep his hand like that to remember stuff and to recall his memory

There is a scientific reason for that :)

It's just the power of our brain. OK here's another tip. :D

Our memory works in a way where we the posture matters.

That's why it's no point studying on a bed while sleeping.

You have to study in the exact position where you would do the exam. So you need to sit on a comfortable chair and you have to study on a table.

It is the position we do studies that matters.

So whenever we are in that particular position, our brain stimulates what we studied in that particular position.

So holding the hand like we hold the pen does have the same effect I reckon ;)

(Got the above tips from a Oxford / Harvard Prof.)

i have read ur earlier thread too bro. im a fan of ur academic threads:D thnx a lot.

u r 100% right bro:yes: if we listen well, we want none studies later.
though im not a good listener, one day i listened to the BS lesson very well focused coz the next day i had a test. and i did some studies after going home that day. the miracle is i just dont remember any thing that i studied after going home, but i still remember what i listened from the teacher.:D i just remember it. its cool

i was trying to say that ur pont is 100000% correct  and it works with everything

again thnx bro 4 giving this ideas

Active listening really helps when schooling :D

(Not boasting) I got 9 D s for my O/Ls by just actively listening coz I wasn't good at studying/ reading bla bla... (studied for 3 weeks though!)

But in the Uni level, it's so hard to cover all the lectures. So when you're doing higher studies, it's not active listening that helps. But self learning ;)

You have to read read read by yourself :D

    Nice thread Asitha bro :D

Depends on the school, subjects you're doing bro.

Believe me A/L is the hardest exam ever. (Maths and Bio I'm talking about)

So to do A/Ls better, you need to be a self learner, active listener, a good reader with a good brain power, and a hard worker.

You can't get through A/Ls with good results by being just an active listener.

(Well maybe that's why I got only 3 Ss for A/Ls after getting 9 Ds )

i use this method when i completely forgot the answer :D

i always do my studies while sitting on my chair, near the table.
when i sit for the exam i just try to get the image of my chair and desk first. then the image of my book comes to my mind. next i get the exact page that contains the answer. then i see the letters exactly in the same position that i have written. :D wel i got the answer then. :D but sometimes this doesnt work wel:D i dont know how this happens, but its a good trick to me

though we completely forgot somthing, we can recover it by this method. need to think step by step.:D i donno wheather this will work for others. but it deffa works 4 me:D

It definitely works for many people if they do it correctly.

That's a really good way to memorise something :D

Using lot of pictures, different colors helps too :)

That's the power/ ability of our brain ;) And people should realise how to stimulate it.

(But the thing is, many A/L and O/L brains gets stimulated by PORN!)
