As we informed you on 14th October & updated you on 16th October via Email Notifications, we’re experiencing an unexpected downtime in PayHere payment gateway at the moment after providing a continuous & uninterrupted service for three months since our service launch.
Unfortunately this downtime is out of our control as it is not a technical fault on our systems, but a regulatory issue on the intermediaries that we’re depending on. Therefore at the moment we are unable to estimate a recovery time for this fault whether it will take few more days or few more weeks to come back to the active status although we’re working hard to get it back as soon as possible.
We understand that you heavily depend on us for accepting online payments for your business, but due to this bad time we have to advise you to use alternative payment methods until we recover from this issue.
Even though your PayHere Account balances are not affected by this issue, as a concession to you at this bad time, we have decided to Payout all your ‘on-hold’ & ‘pending-payout’ payments regardless of the Payout Cycle & the Release Level you have set in your account. Accordingly if your Next Payout amount is greater than LKR 1000, please note that it will be paid out to your bank account within next 24 hours & you will receive a Payout Notification Email regarding the same.
We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused due to this issue & really appreciate your patience, understanding & encouragement to recover from this issue.
