Mainly you have your basic salary which is your months fixed salary. Then on top of that you will have your fixed allowance like budgetary relief allowances or skill allowances or fuel allowances.

Then you will have your variable allowance such as overtime or attendance bonus or incentives like sales incentive

Then thirdly you have your deductions

These could be your no pay deductions or late deductions which will be deducted from your gross salary. They will also be deducted from your tax or epf bases

Then you habe your contributions ..which could be epf or msps..

Then your paye tax and stamp duty

Then there are other deductions like welfare deduction or mobile phone deductions or loans

So after all of these you get your net salary..

So basically it would go as follows

    Basic salary
    allowances

    Gross salary

    Deductions

    Epf deductions

    Tax deduction

    Net salary

Ot is given on a rate.. basic salary/240 into no of ot hours into hourly rate which could be 1.5 or 2.0..

Rates wil depend a lot on the sector u work at..there's a labour rule stating all these which I'm not that familiar with

It is ok thank you. And further I want to know how the attendance bonus is calculated? And budget relief? And how the skill allowance is calculated?

Attendance incentive criteria will depend on each company.. there's no single universal way to do it..

There are ot 1.5 and 2.0 and some companies factories specially pay 2.5 3.0 ot even..these are for statutory holidays ..and after certain hours...you should be able to get exact rules from Labour department ..cos these will depend on the nature of the company
