The word jihad means holy war right? And it seems like through out history military jihad has been carried out by muslims. So there's no strong facts to really support the claim, "Islam is peaceful". In fact it seems that it it not.

Islam means Not peace. It means SUBMISSION (TO GOD). By accepting Islam you are submitting to that god. If you are not a muslim, You have rejected god, and you are therefore an INFIDEL, an ENEMY OF islam, and should be converted or treated like trash.
