Personal Opinion - New JB Movies aren't JB Movies

So guys finally got a chance to watch the new JB movie. Remember a thread that was talking about JB movies so thought of putting my personal opinion about this film.

For me Daniel Craig JB movies doesn't qualify as JB movies because they lack a lot of characteristics the previous 20+ movies had. Below are something I noted.

1. Lack of one liners - JB is know for his one-liners and the latest movies hardly had any
2. No proper villain - JB was never about family, but all about protecting the world. The last movie is more about JB and his family and too emotional.
3. Lack Fast cars and Gadgets - All JB movies used to have fast cars, high tech gadgets which will be demoed by Q before JB taking them, but now we don't see much of this in many of the DC movies
4. Messy fight scenes - JB movies aren't known for messy fight scenes. But DC movies have so much of messy fight scene they look more like the generic action movies
5. Lack of bond girls - Bond girls are one of the main parts of JB movies. He is always trying to seduce and he never sticks with a single chick and some of the chicks end up dead. But in the DC movies you hardly see any seduction or sex scenes.

Agree of 02 03 and 05.
Family thing is stupid. And JB always needs fancy gadgets. Like dissappearing car, exploding tie, watch with lazers and etc.

Lack of bond girls mostly because it's all getting political now. I won't wonder if next one comes with bisexual JB. Nothing against them, but Bond should not be like that. He's a established character with certain qualities. Doesn't need to change it.

I think no messy fights is OK since he's highly trained spy.

What do you say about the lack of oneliners? The new JB is just a emotional fellow which isn't his character.



I too agree that this is getting too political, remember felix been a white guy, but in this he is a black guy. Also they are trying very hard to represent the black and other communities. In no time will there be a bisexual JB like you said.

I didn't realized it much until you mentioned. But of course, Sean Connery and earlier Bond's had many cheeky one liners..

I like Daniel because his fights and actions are better, but too sensitive for a Bond as you said.
