Plagiarism by local sports journalists?

Have you noticed this a lot in Sri Lanka? I came across someone (while reading a cricket forum) who has been doing it for years for sports other than cricket. The guy had copied stuff from UK, AUS and NZ publications and put his name as the author for a well known local newspaper. I found that downright pathetic.

The article was titled "The players to watch out for". It was a preview of the rugby world cup on Daily News. They have removed it from the site. This is a copy of Fox Sports Australia preview. The same person had copied many other articles including the preview of the previous rugby world cup.
