Playing VCD on my PC

Hi, I am unable to play VCDs on my PC. The prob is,,,, da CD opens with 5 files as "CDI, EXT, MPEGAV, SEGMENT and VCD. I can see songs as AVSEQ format in MPEGAV folder but unable to open em' in my PC. Will u help me to sort this out.

When I'm trying to open da file it says

"u r attemptin to open a file of type 'DAT File'. These files r usin by da operatin system n by various programs. Editin or modifyin of em' cud damege ur system.

Anyway most players have VCD play option. You can use them. Dat file contains VCD videos. If u can not open them with media player, probably CD may have damages.

and try to take out the AVSEQ (DAT file) using this software....

add an entry in the filetypes (folder options => file types => add ) & put the file extension ".DAT" & open with media player... (you might need to browse to the mediaplayer exe \Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe

Hope this helps...

After this you dont need to right click everytime & select open with...
