Playing VCD on my PC

Hi, I am unable to play VCDs on my PC. The prob is,,,, da CD opens with 5 files as "CDI, EXT, MPEGAV, SEGMENT and VCD. I can see songs as AVSEQ format in MPEGAV folder but unable to open em' in my PC. Will u help me to sort this out.

When I'm trying to open da file it says

"u r attemptin to open a file of type 'DAT File'. These files r usin by da operatin system n by various programs. Editin or modifyin of em' cud damege ur system.

    Anyway most players have VCD play option. You can use them. Dat file contains VCD videos. If u can not open them with media player, probably CD may have damages.

    :yes: :yes: and try to take out the AVSEQ (DAT file) using this software....

    add an entry in the filetypes (folder options => file types => add ) & put the file extension ".DAT" & open with media player... (you might need to browse to the mediaplayer exe \Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe :)

    Hope this helps...

    After this you dont need to right click everytime & select open with... ;)
