Can somebody kindly explain who's attacking who here ? and why ?

MR supporters were transported to Colombo(using private busses) from different areas in the country. After attacking GotaGoGama they went back using the same vehicles. And the news spread that MR supporters attacked GotaGoGama.

But by the time this bus(with MR supporters) reach Nittambuwa, anti-Rajapaksha protesters were already checking vehicle by vehicle to take revenge on the MR supporters. So anti-Rajapaksha protestors attacked this private bus.
