Please Help Me...

Hey!!! Hidden files in my computer cannot be viewed even if i check the show hidden files option in the Folder Options, after checking Show Hidden Files still it gets reset and checks the Do Not Show Hidden Files Option.......Is this a Virus ?? Or is it something else ??? Help Me To Get Out Of This Problem.....

I had da same problem when I had XP in my old PC!
But after a few days it was OK!

I have AVG and Ad-Aware running right now let's see whether they'll catch any virus or spyware.......

ya mchn me also had da same problem..i think its gnna b a virus..bcoz sme dys ltr it hids da flder options frm da tools..bck up ur data & frmt da pc..its btr..

AVG walata oke ahuwene na mchn..mageth thibune AVG..try kaspersky....

if you want to see the files, youcan type the file location in the address bar and open that,,if you can't remember the location you can use partition magic to view files,,it shows the hidden files..,,..

Ok machan I'll try Kaspersky if the virus is still there even after Ad-Aware has deleted the infections........Thanxxx Bro......!!!

control panel eken new user account ekak hada gena try karanna ..

eeta passe hidden files pennai..

passe full virus scan ekak danna

ya it a virus.. but even if you install the a new antivirus program you can not remove the virus completely. it is recomended to install a good antivirus program just after you install your os. its the 1st thing u should do after installing windows. now i dont think it will work. btw way. AVG is not a good antivirus program. try Kasper or Norton. norton will slow down your startup, but it is damn good.
