I write with reference to the above event that is being organised by your society to bring focus to the situation in Sri Lanka.
This event is scheduled to be addressed by Mr Sutha Nadarajah who is referred to as a Phd student at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London and Editor of Tamil Guardian. I wish to bring to you attention that Mr Nadarajah is the assistant of Mr Anton Balasingham one of the leaders of the LTTE terrorist organisation. He accompanied Mr Balasingham to peace talks in Geneva and besides the Tamil Guardian disseminates LTTE propaganda. Mr Nadarajah constantly speaks in forums organised by LTTE fronts to propagate the LTTE ideology.
It is indeed disheartening that while the UK has banned the LTTE terrorist organisation from operating in the UK, your organisations sees it fit to offer a platform to a known member of a terrorist group to voice their terrorist ideology.
I am confident the hallowed venue of the RSC would not be granted as a platform for people who further the cause of Islamic terrorism such as Anjem Choudry, Abu Hamza and Bakri ? So then why is a man such as Sutha Nadarajah who is a member of the banned LTTE terror organisation in the UK allowed to propagate his terrorist message.
I urge you to let saner counsel prevail and cancel this meeting as it is not acceptable that the Royal Commonwealth Society allows its premises to be used for terrorist propaganda work.
