    Hi

Am looking for a LCD monitor about 19". Budget about 16k.

Could you please comment and share your experience on the following LCD monitors.
I like to know any problems you had and how long you have being using without problems.

    Acer G195HQV
    Compaq w185q
    Compaq s1922
    Samsung E1920x

These are relatively low resolution. But well I am using mainly for document work. Not for movies or games :). Of course there must be lot better monitors but the price would be higher :D.

If you have experience with any other monitor model within my budget (well can be little over 16k :P), pls do let me know.

    Thanks.

Anyone else using those specific models other than kavindu47 ?

Others, nice if you can specify the model number in addition to the brand when recommending please . That would help me check it out.

Someone mentioned there was a post in Elakiri where it said that a tax reduction is expected on LCD monitors (due to low power consumption w.r.t crt monitors) next budget Nov 2010 :P

    Couldn't find that post.
Anyone any ideas with insider info or just a dream or only astrologer can tell? :D
(or we might get an increase in price in everything due to e-waste blah blah )

wondering whether to wait a month or two or buy LCD monitor now :frown:
