i'm so sorry for your loss.. while admiting the fact that SOME doctors are simply mony launders, i must say most others are NOT like that.. as a med student let me bring about a simple fact.. Never, ever bring your relatives to a private hospital in an emergency. they will NOT manage them properly.. Colombo National Hospital is the best option, if reachable within 1-2 hours, perhaps more, in case of a heart attack or stroke, i must say this.. some specific treatments like thrombolytic therapy are NOT available elsewhere.. i don't know about apolo, but as far as i know tis not available anywhere elso NHSL.. even in private hospitals.. what they want is MONEY AND REPUTATION.. They know they lose both if they manage emergencies.. so they most of the time send patients back to national hospital, but by the time they arrive it's TOO LATE..

Even that hospital is not that great, they send people back who are heartpatients!!! My uncle has been brought there, hes an heart patient and had a stroke, his operation was shedueled 14th of july, and coz there were too many people, they sent him back home!!!!!!
Doctors need to work, instead of working at gov hospitals AND having private ones....and then neglecting patients who can die!
Sad about Sri lanka, about people accepting this...

Thanks for spreading the word, we have to let people know! And let people stop believing these stupid fairytales in Sri lanka!

Let our government get things straight, and sue those bloody money wanted doctors! Its always the same story, if they mess up, they blame it anything else but theirself!
