Back in Oz one day we went to Victoria Market and I got a boomerang.
So in the night we got in the train and went to a far away suburb to try and throw the boomerang.
It was dead dark in the suburb we stopped at not a soul on the roads. We went to the center of the suburb where there was a park and tried throwing it a few times.
Suddenly a cop car pulled up and one of the cops saw me holding the boomerang in my hand. He said What you got there mate?
I said It's a boomerang. The cop took it and looked at it carefully and gave it back.
He got our details and asked us to go home. We were kinda lost ourselves so we had to ask the cop to check his Melways to find our way back to the station and back to our own suburb.

මම කිව්වා ඒක බූමරංගයක් කියලා. පොලිස්කාරයා ඒක අරන් හොඳට බලලා ආපහු දුන්නා.
එයා අපේ විස්තර අරගෙන ගෙදර යන්න කිව්වා. අපට යම් තරමක අපවම අහිමි වූ නිසා නැවත ස්ටේෂන් වෙත ගොස් නැවත අපේම උප නගරයට යන මාර්ගය සොයා ගැනීමට ඔහුගේ මෙල්වේස් පරීක්ෂා කරන ලෙස පොලිස් නිලධාරියාගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටීමට අපට සිදු විය.
