android thama
from the perspective of developers apple is a huge unsuccess it has to be regiter by all the devs in apple market paying $90 (android only need $25 one time registration ) and only after registration apple gives the virtual image of the IOS (android sdk is available even for non registered users to try ) and to develop for IOS you need to have a mac otherwise their IDE could not be run (android adt is available for eclipse well known IDE which is written in java and can be run on all the famous platforms including apple mac os , windows or linux)
also the language for IOS is objective c which it called it self object oriented aspect of c (how the hell c has a object oriented aspect C had been designed by Denis in bell lab even there is not a clue abt object orientation and that is y later c++ came to the game with real power of object orientation )
so from the developer aspect of the view i called IOS is a huge lost (that is why there are 1000 times bigger dev community for android rather than IOS best example is iRis which is a app like SIRI has been out its alpha lately and the developers of iRis says it took only 8 hours to develop the app for them )
