To get utorrent working you need to
    • Have a Static IP for your local machine
    • Forward ports for that IP in the router
    • Allow utorrent through the firewall (3rdparty firewall or built-in Windows firewall)
Make sure you have done all three, sometimes people forget about the firewall.

MY Nrt connection is 2mb and i dnt have static IP.imean SLT not giving static IP ryt?
I meant a static IP for your local machine (behind the router like a 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x address). Cos with DHCP (dynamic address) you can't port forward.

I didn't mean a public static IP. I know SLT doesnt give public static IPs :P. Read my second reply !.
I meant a local fixed IP on your PC, that means not using DHCP.

I don't understand what you are asking... LAN IP is not the same as WAN IP or public IP. If everything is working for you then good. What is the problem ??

To forward a port in a router you need a fixed local (LAN) IP on the computer. Port forwarding means that what ever request comes to a specific port of the router from outside will be forwarded to a specific port on a specific computer behind the router. If you have DHCP then your local IP can change every time you restart the computer, if that happens then port forwarding rules will not work.

    This only applies to routers.
