But I'm having doubts with the quality of sound that it can produce, because I normally switch between Headphones and speakers quite often. So last time for the convenience I changed the socket and plugged it into the front panel of my casing... but the quality was so bad!!!

So I think there is nothing like you get it straight out of your mainboard slot!!
