Seriously guys, Mercury isn't bad. I'm not bullsh*tting you here. Its really reliable AND they're not a generic manufacturer, they make mobos, cases, RAM and a whole lot of other stuff. Plus, awesome value for money too.

I might be able to test a 4850 with the PSU, but I'll have to borrow it from a friend :P. Will post results :P!

But, since it costs only 1750 bucks, why don't you guys with 8800s or more powerful/power hungry cards try one out?

I remember sri_lion saying his iCute PSU blew up with his 4850 (or was it 3870?? :O)

I remember dexter.morgan.666 saying his PC didn't even start up with a generic PSU with his 8800GTS 320

I'm not saying you need 40A on +12V to run a decent PC. Mine only has 18A, but it is a good PSU (not identical to the one in the link, it's the 18A version that I have) and it is really heavy and cost me RS.5250 in 2003 dec. Still running like a charm. But I'm affraid it can't handle a 4850. OK with 9600GT.
