total cost was around $5000 including all taxes, i wonder you could by a better system for that amount of money.

Isn't it worthy if you could build a system which is only 10% slower, at USD1500 and invest that USD3500 on something that doesn't get obsolete in a couple of years?

are you positive about 10%? I think its little more at least about 30-40%.

Say, you have two 8800 Ultra's right? You could get pretty much the same performance with two 8800GTS G92's. But at what price? Half of that! And in a game like Crysis, both systems (your USD5000 PC vs my hypothetical USD1500 PC) will perform almost identically. Remember, 8800GTS can be overclocked much more than 8800Ultra. In the end, maybe my PC would perform much better, consume less power and live happily with Crysis
