Well.. I'm going review each ones software list.. so i start with Ranhiru's one...

1.Adobe Reader Update Avalable - v9 - Download
2.Keep your Adobe Reader tuned using Adobe Reader SpeedUp
3.Apple Software Update - Uninstall this if you not do updates
4.Seems you have installed several codec packs. its better to use one at a time.. I recomend you to uninstall all other codec packs and install KLM 4.0.7 or Vista Codec Pack 4.7.2 (with x64Components)

Its a powerful virus protection software. I have tested Symantec, McAfee, Kaspersky, BitDefender, Avira and Norman protection softwares but only Eset NOD32 proved to be reliable and compatible with other security softwares. With scanning speed, it is the fastest with low memory usage and never bug down. Detection response time is also fast and with daily update, you can be sure that you are protected from pests.

The Problem people having with this is keeping it updated. Don't use cracks. Use original with original update licenses then all are ok. Watch my blog for latest update license.

5. DivX Player is not necessary to use if you have installed codecs. install KLM and use MPC as player
