Mahinda Rajapakshe may be corruptious. It may be true.
But who is behind SF?
Why do those Ravi karunanayake, Sajith Premadasa and the batallion work so hard to gain power with SF?
To serve the country??
Do you think their motive is to serve the country??

SF needs "POWER". his batallion need "MONEY"

If Sarath Fonseka said "NO" to corruption Would SF gain power in our constitution without the support of his battallion.
Can he change the constitution of Executive presidensy without the vote of 2/3. ??

All dreams... ultimately we, "the common public" will be the losers.
What we are doing is decorating the paths for political rogues to go to parliament and earn money and after some time we have to jump into ditch when they race their brand new monteros/BMWs passing us.


Their sons will show us the power of pistols and will spend out taxed money in night clubs. Was this different in past government? no. Every govt come up with all the nicest promises. But we see the real faces only after some time. It was same with MR/JR/Chandrika/Ranil/Premadasa?
Have we forgotten how Sajith behaved during his father's time? What he did to all the treasures of our temples.

BUT.....

If we didn't vote for MR in 2005, there will still be 100s of soldiers dying every day.
Bombs would blast on and off.
Our beloved ones would come home in a coffin.
We will only have a "hope" for "peace"


"I will frankly vote for MR in gratitude" for this time only.
We can't go on for ever in gratitude. True. But this is too soon to forget the incomparable leadership he gave to Sri Lanka. If it was not for him Prabhakaran is still alive.

IF any of this didn't happen...


1. If you didn't vote Mahinda Rajapakshe in 2005 wouldn't Prabhakaran and the gang be still alive as Ranil Wicramasinghe will never lead a war ?


2. Wouldn't the Army commander will have to stop whatever the fight halfway surrending to International pressure.? Can an army commander lead a war for 2 years without proper DPL strategies?

What would be the situation if we were "black listed" and fuel, food, and aids were stopped? How long will the nation survive? Would heroism itself rule a country?


3. If the head of state was JR, Ranil, Chandrika, DB Wijethunge, would any of them resist the enormous international pressure.
(Ranasinghe Premadasa might resist. But would he have proper diplomatic stategies. He coun't have proper friendship eve with india. But MR managed to cover up everything with his own "cunningness, shrewdness, flattery, etc.etc")


4. If Mahinda Rajapakse said "stop" to the war even at the last minute, surrending to the international pressure, can any army commander (alone) win the war?

5. If the Military forces were not given proper training, moral boosting, euipments and facilities would we be able to fight against Prabhakaran's massive weapon stores?

6. If the National Inteligence/ under-hand inteligence services and cunning strategic planning didn't mess up the local and international terrorist grouping, would LTTE/prabhakaran be weaken?


7. If the head of state ordered to stop the war in at puthukuduirippu and ordered only to capture Prabhakaran and families alive andhandover to india, what would be the situation now?


8. Its a president who is answerable to the war crimes in any national war. (Army commander is covered by the president)

Knowing this very well that the president is answerable to International war crimes, and knowing that there is a chance of ending up in the same shoes of "Saddam Hussein", if Mahinda Rajapakshe feared this and said "No" to the massacre of terrorists, wouldn't prabhakaran still be alive? (May be in jail in India or under refuge in some other country)


9. When certain countries refuced to sell weapons to us, if we didn't have proper DPL links with other rival countries and managed to get arms underhand, would our army be strong enough to fight with with the LTTE weapon strngth?
Would Sarath Fonseka be able to fight alone? Would Ranil do it for him?


10. If Airforce heroes didn't pin point the hideouts and target the terrist strong points and if SL navy heroes couldn't guard the naval coast day and night without letting a mosquitoe escape, wouln't prabhakaran be still alive? He would surely have escaped by sea. We will aquire only bare land. Wouln't we? And what could be the situation NOW?


11. Instead of Sarath Fonseka, if Jagath Jayasuriya/Kamal Gunaratne/ Shavendra Silva was there in the position of Army commander, would we fail to win the war 2009?


12. IF Ranil Wicremasinghe was the president in 2009, and Sarath Fonseka was the Army commander, would we win the war?????


13. Prabhakaran would still be alive if any of the above didn't happen....

dont ask for too much , this is a uniqe feature of sri lankans , we sometimes used to forget what have been done and ask for more . If MR was born in china , he will be a world hero at the moment .
