● Prashasthi is the first and the most renowned brass band fiesta in Sri Lanka. No one was familiar with the concept based concerts back in 2001, until that is the senior brass band of Ananda College dared to introduce it to the public with Prashasthi. Throughout its legacy of decade in music, Prashasthi managed to initiate the much needed rebellion in the music arena. Prashasthi, being the first ever school concert to take place in BMICH, after which everyone followed, is also guilty of introducing the latest and the trendiest stage deco, lighting, sounds and technologies to the concert field.

● When it started off in 2001, Prashasthi helped promote the talents of numerous students scattered all over the country. It provided the much needed platform for the young to showcase their talent and to realize their artistic capabilities. Prashasthi is also known for its prominent role in molding modern music giants, such as Bathiya Jayakody, Kasun Kalahara, Indrachapa Liyanage and many more.

● After a decade of excellence Prashasthi is returning for an encore of music splendor. Together with never-before-seen magnificence and the finest of the Sri Lankan music industry, this year Prashasthi promises its fans an experience that’ll last for a life time.

Prashasthi 2009 attracted more than 2600 fans to the BMICH and many were not able to attend cuz the BMICH had no space left. So we can safetly assume that with the array of Singers performing and the crowd attending, Prashasthi '10 is only gonna be second to the IIFA awards! :D if your not sure, come and see for urself brother! :D

Prashasthi 2009f attracted 2600+ crowd to the BMICH. Many were not able to attend prashasthi cuz the BMICH was full and had no space left. attracting 2600+ people for a single event done by a school that has nearly or more(i dont know how many students r there in ur school) students is a really hard task i can figure that out mate !

BTW crowds may attend but does that mealy say that the show was better. for example T20 cricket matches draw many spectators but does that give us the conclusion that test cricket is not as good ?

i am not trin to say that ur show is not good but dont ova rate ur selves. dont fill up too much hot air inside of ur selves cus when it blows ur jst gonna come down lower than u even were!
