Dude.. 1st of all don't just blind bash!! if you got proof then publish.. besides if you are referring to it because Mahinda's sons in UK or whatever.. it doesn't really make any sense because there are lot of normal civillian familes have enough financial capabilities sends thier children too... so why a president cannot!! You dont really need Billions for that!!

But the thing is Sri Lankan can't be a budget airline.Its reputation is too high.This thread is not for that mate.this is for discuss Mahinda trying to crush Sri Lankan Air lines!!!

Sri Lankan airlines is the national carrier nobody is asking it to be a Budget Airline.. Every company is has its protocols, and do you think there's no corruption in Sri Lankan airlines? I recently saw a news about some big shot getting arrested for corruption!!! Let the Audits handle their business in Sri Lankan airlines and Mihin Air you don't worry about that!

Sri Lankan airline has reputation that's true.. but what the reputation has to with this... if any other airline emerges from Sri Lanka offering Sri Lankans competitive prices for flying.. Sri Lankan airlines also will have no option other than to lower their prices then isn't it good for us consumers? then you and me can fly even lower rates @ Sri Lankan airlines too!!

I met one of the deputy directors of Sri Lankan Air lines yesterday and that person told me that Our honorable president is planning to overthrow the Sri Lankan Airlines and trying promote His Precious Mihin Air Instead.
He was trying to do this for a long time and he has finally found an excuse.The Excuse was that when he wanted to get 16 seats immediately when he was in London to come to Sri Lanka The Sri Lankan Airlines Refused to do it because all the seats were already booked.
