President Maithripala Sirisena shakes hands with former LTTE cadre, Sivaraja Jenivan alias Senan, who was captured by security forces while he was attempting to assassinate Sirisena in 2006. The President released the convict on a presidential pardon during a ceremony at the BMICH yesterday to mark his first year in office.
