Private Medical College - Good or Bad

What do you thinks guys? Is private medical colleges are (here I'm talking in general not about SAITM) good or bad?

Most private based are always better regulated than the Gov here.

Actually that's not what I meant to say. The governing body is so Effed up that we cannot rely on the governing body. Not the institutes.

Exactly my point. The death rates are already high as it is.. it would be catastrophic if these ill-trained amateurs are allowed in the field.
Professor Carlo Fonseka publicly said that he would step down from his position as President of SLMC, rather than allow graduates from SAITM to register with the SLMC.

No machan we should not stop them entering in to the market. We just need to regulate and make sure they are up to the standard. Machan if we can do that we can stop loads of money going out from Sri Lanka every year as students leave abroad to spend money and learn.
