in my pc i hav instroled vista when i on ma pc all coms and i enter my pass word and aftr tat normali the desktop must come but only a blank black colur bak ground comes wit no i cons notin only a blak bak ground plz plz help me

First try to go desktop via safe mode,if that possible then u can do system restore and take things back to normal,Hope so...Just try...

Hi, I think you dont need to format. After you loged in and when you get the black screen, wait for couple of minutes and press Ctl+Alt+Delete keys and go to Task Manager.

In Task Manager, click File, New task.

Type Explorer.exe


Try that it should work.
