    "An estimate of the adults who have at some point in their life been told they have hypertension is 25.53%.
    If we select a rendom sample of 20 adults and assume that the probability that each has been told that ha or she has hypertension is 0.24.

    Find the probability and number of people in the sample who have been told that they have hypertension.

    what u have typed is bit unclear machan.. maybe typing the exact question as in the paper will help.. with what you have said here i can only think of something like this..

    Tricky q. I'll tell my understanding. Please confirm the answer after you get to know accurately.

    Probability of having hypertension in the sample = 0.24+0.2553
    (probability of each having hypertension + probability of some having hypertension (this statement in the q is not very clear) )

    Hence;
    No of people in the sample having hypertension = (0.24+0.2553)*20
