) this is DX9 (i.e. 3DMark06). In DX9, the stream processors are not used properly or not used at all. DX9 still requires the separate pixel and vertex shaders to operate, and I have no idea how they are implemented alongside the stream processors.
In DX10, X2900XT has 320 stream processors and 8800GTX has 128 stream processors. Former should be a beast in DX10 games.
