Ram help needed

Hey guys I'm using a Gygabyte GA-8I945GZME-RH motherboard on my computer. It says "Dual Channel DDR2 533" for Rams. I'm using a 512MB 533 mhz ram. Can I use a 667 MHZ on this computer? Can I use a 2GB Ram with my current 512MB ram?

U can use 667MHz Rams.But it doesn't give u full performance.It will give u only 533MHz speed.B'coz Your highest speed is 533MHz.U can use 2GB Ram with ur 512MB Ram.But check,what is the highest memory u can plug.(I never used Gigabyte motherboards.So,ask 4m others too)

and do not use 667 MHz ..when your board supporting only upto 512MHz ..It's not good for the mother board...

RAM will work, But it will not give full perfomence (Both RAM will run on 533Mhz)

i don't know it's technicaly correct ..but lots of my friends damage their boards ..due to this problem
