i think sajith or tissa attanayaka will be a very good option...no chance for SB cos UNP does nt allow ppl who crossed over to become leader...prbly he may become deputy leader or smthing

Machan Tissa Attanayake also do thing like RW, UNP need youth new Ledership thats why Sajith is the best choice, and the late R Premadasa is the only propere President in SL, no strikes no bull shit and Sajith need to do the same

Nothing is reliable when it comes to SL politics. Even if Ranil says so today, its still not reliable as he is likely to change his mind tomorrow.

UNP is a legendary party.........Although Ranil steps down from the leadership he should act as an adviser or a consultant....Coz Ranil has a good brain unfortunately doesn't have the charisma.......

Youngsters like Sujeewa Senasinghe,Dayasiri Jayasekara,Budhdhika pathirana etc should be given more responsibilities.........They are capable hands......

Hmmmmm........The problem is he doesn't have the looks to be a politician....Anyways no point pondering about the past.........The young guns of UNP with veterans should lead from the front....May be UNP would be able to get the high jumpers back if RW leaves...The likes of Karu etc...
