Well atleast Ranil's trying to do something.....this was a method they used in a different countrty. I mean if that fool of a president was not elected we would have had much lower gas prices. Afterall no matter what the price of gas is on the market, a government should be able to lower it. Our government is so corrupted that there is no other option but to raise prices.


If the only reason for high gas prices is war...then that's really lame. I mean we have fought this war for as long as I can remember....and if the amount of LTTE members that died during that period is correct...then there should be none left


So don't call Ranil a P****** based on how he looks from the outside. I bet he has more backbone(not physically) than Mahinda. Mahinda is by the way a very good actor but a really(and I mean really) unsuccesful president.(way worse than Chandrika).

Ranil has more intelligence than the whole government. Maybe our country is cursed or maybe it's the consequences of our peoples sins, that we are stuck in the same place we were nearly 1 and half decades back.(and this is as an undeveloped country which is only famous for cricket)

I agree with about government must able to have a controle over the prices of comodities no matter what happen in the world, but doesn't mean they can keep it in the same level, does it? If I can remember right, whrn Ranil's government came in 2001, because they were so good & been able to keep the prices down, people were so scred that they decided to let them off the hook within 2 years or so

Mahinda been courrupted, ok prove it he is & with hard evidences & try to prove he is more than Ranil & his gola baalyas.

War = peace (committed to paper there is still doubt )
expenses for the war < expences for sama savari
Same with human rights
same with Number of Ministers
same with the Gawament expences9 for punnakku and other stuff)
Therfore PA Gawament = UNP Gawament = Other Gawament

since its politics i dont like to comment on most of what you have said
what you have said suits when the presidential polls were going.bcz thats what made mahinda president.
but is it a reality right now?
does he work for the poor people?

After some time....Anyways if a so called High society doesn't exist in a country who will run the private sector????...Do you actually think that the government is responsible for most of the job opportunities in our country???? I mean if a high class society doesn't exist half of our country will be unemployed. So if you really understand the situation it is the high class society that the government should give priority to, so that they can provide private sector job opportunities for the people(I don't think the government has enough jobs or the ability to pay their salaries.). And this will serve the poor people well.

And come on, with the high living cost, high fuel prices and a war which is provoked by our government, you still support the person who's responsible??
Don't be short sighted. Look at the bigger picture.

We have the power to end the war. But the corrupted politician are not letting it end because it is a business. And for the government it is a safety net.
