Rape of a Nanda Menike at the Army Training centre in Diayatalawa

The order (document) reads: “WOAS (Whilst On Active Service) being an officer of the Regular Force charged for the conduct to the prejudice of good order and military discipline that he on 25th December 1975 at the Army Training centre at the station officers mess Diayatalawa did become in a manner unbecoming the character of an officer and a gentleman and thereby punished under Army Act Section 129 (1).

this woman lives in madawachchiya my home town. Nanda Manike. it is said that certain officers had harassed her in an officers mess. and also said that certain officers has had physical relationships with this woman. However Rape is a serous offense in the army any officer who is found guilty for rape will be not be able to continue as a commissioned officer. So its clear that this is not a rape case. but its true that she has been harassed and abused. its not a secret that many lady officers, and girls has sex with army officers. but should say that rape is not forgiven in Army its a very serous offense..
