Former All Blacks captain Todd Blackadder says Crusaders flanker Kieran Read should replace Jerry Collins in the All Blacks.
Read, the form No6 among the five New Zealand Super 14 teams, has been one of the most consistent performers in the Crusaders pack and a contender for the All Blacks.

"Week-in, week-out, Read has been the best No6 on the track."
However, Henry has long been a fan of Collins' ability to intimidate opponents with his defensive hits and Blackadder admitted the coach may want to stick with those he has relied on before.

Read has been an automatic selection for Robbie Deans this season, starting at No6 in the opener against the Brumbies after Reuben Thorne was sidelined because of injury.
Despite Thorne's recovery, Deans retained Read, who quickly adapted his game to the playing style required under the Experimental Law Variations.
If not wanted by Henry for three tests against Ireland and England and the Tri-Nations, Read should be a certainty for the grand slam tour at the end of the year, Blackadder said. The Pres
