Trust
Real Friendship: It's best to trust your secrets in someone you know. As a friendship gets stronger, so does trust between friends.

Virtual Friendship: They can lie about age, sex, their city, and more....It's risky to trust people you can't see, unless you see them on the webcam.

Intimate subjects
Real Friendship: At school or in a group of friends intimate conversation flows and blooms naturally.

Virtual Friendship: When you meet on the Internet you may want to talk about intimate or private subjects, but later will feel bad about doing so.

Presence
Real Friendship: If you are in school all day you will have little time for you friends.

Virtual Friendship: They are easier to access. Don't spend all your time talking to them sitting in front of the computer that means at night and on the weekends too.

Advice
Real Friendship: Real friends know you and therefore can give you good advice.

Virtual Friendship: They don't know all the parts of your life and so can't give you real advice on your problems.

Sincerity
Real Friendship: There's nothing better than to look a friend in the eyes and talk face to face.

Virtual Friendship: It's hard to know if the person you are talking to on the Internet cares about what you're saying. Sincerity on the Internet is hard to come by.
