The Final Count down

This is the real story of a song "The Final Countdown" sang by Europe

This song is written in memory of the people who died in the accident with the shuttle "Chalenger" when it blew up a few seconds after taking off. On the board of the shuttle there weren't only astronauts but teachers scientist and ordinary people. After coming back to Earth they had to tell about their feelings but they didn't have the chanse to do. Everything was broadcasted live all over the world and many people in front of their TVs saw the accident. The song is written few months after that day.:( :( :( :( :( :nerd:

We're leaving together,
But still it's farewell
And maybe we'll come back,
To earth, who can tell?
I guess there is no one to blame
We're leaving ground (leaving ground)
Will things ever be the same again?

It's the final countdown
It's the final countdown
It's the final countdown

We're heading for Venus and still we stand tall
Cause maybe they've seen us and welcome us all
With so many light years to go and things to be found (things to be found)
I'm sure that we'll all miss her so.

It's the final countdown
It's the final countdown
It's the final countdown

We're heading for Venus and still we stand tall
Cause maybe they've seen us and welcome us all
With so many light years to go and things to be found (things to be found)
I'm sure that we'll all miss her so.

It's the final countdown
It's the final countdown
It's the final countdown

It's the final countdown
It's the final countdown...

Candle in the Wind

Story of a "Candle in the Wind" sang by Elton Jhones

"Candle in the Wind 1997" or "Goodbye England's Rose" is a remake of "Candle in the Wind" by Elton John that was released as a tribute to Diana, Princess of Wales. Released in 1997, the song peaked at number one in the United Kingdom, becoming John's fourth number one single. It also peaked at number one in most other countries. The Guinness Book of Records 2007 states that "Candle In the Wind 1997" is the biggest selling single "since records began", but that Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" has sold the most copies. John said he would never sing this song live again, however.

Goodbye England's rose
May you ever grow in our hearts
You were the grace that placed itself
Where lives were torn apart
You called out to our country
And you whispered to those in pain
Now you belong to heaven
And the stars spell out your name
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned out long before
Your legend ever will
Loveliness we've lost
These empty days without your smile
This torch we'll always carry
For our nation's golden child
And even though we try
The truth brings us to tears
All our words cannot express
The joy you brought us through the years
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned our long before
Your legend ever will
Goodbye England's rose
May you ever grow in our hearts
You were the grace that placed itself
Where lives were torn apart
Goodbye England's rose
From a country lost without your soul
Who'll miss the wings of your compassion
More than you'll ever know
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And you footsteps will always fall here
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned out long before
Your legend ever will
