    hi guys,
my friend is looking to buy a Motorola L6 (brandnew) phone [i know its little old but he likes it]. he asked me about reliability and user opinions for motorola, especially moto L6 keypad and etc. but i havent use any Motorola phone.
I seached a little abut this but there were normally good opinions.
so kindly help with this. L6 owner/user opinions are highly regarded.

    1. he's ok with the features and stuff of L6, but he is not sure about keypad of it (Moto V3 like pad) because hes going to type (text) most of the time. will there be a problem ?

2.and can he change the case/cover(skin) of these phones?

    3. are there any other problem about Motorolla phones ?

    4. is it a easilly breakable phone (by dropping) ? as hes a little careless and L6 is so thin.

if L6 is problematic/bad which phone should he go for?(~ Rs 14 000.)

    Thanks.

Well u can't complain about Moto L6. it is stylish, slim, and more cheaper then some other slim phones.

    Few tips b4 buying L6

    L6 has no SD card
Very Hard and expencive to Unlock unless you buy a full GSM L6
Keypad is OK, fast input, big fonts and very sharp display
    Ringing Tones are very loud

If u can spend bit more money it's good to go for a L7

as i said hes not a technogeek or something, he is ok with the phone. i thinks those slim samsungs are expensive than Rs.14000 ?

hes only fear about the reliability of the phone, especially its leys as they are metal strips.

BTW what is "Very Hard and expencive to Unlock unless you buy a full GSM L6 " ??
he's buying it from a local shop. whats a full GSM ??

    Can we change its cover??

    Thanks.

Do he get a CD and cable with L6?

can it use without a driver cd and a ordinary miniUSB cable to connect to a pc via USB(as it uses miniUsb)?

As i said the phone is very hard to unlock. you have to open the phone (take off the 4 screws) and bypass the motherboard while the device is pluged into a PC. im affraid a petta unlock guys would easily do this as there is a big risk involved with unlocking and your expencive phone might turn into a BRICK. Find somebody very good at those stuff b4 trying to unlock L6.

Unlock your phone at your own risk
Read more motorola L6 Testpoint Unlocking www.boot-loader.com

Fully GSM means phone is unlocked to any network (No operator logos, no contracts with cellular companies, str8 from manufacture with original unbranded box)

You Can use a standard USB to 5pin Mini USB cable if you didnt get any cables and easily download software from MOTO support site.

SE K700i is one of the best SE phones
