perhaps you should think about what you are saying first. Sinhala population is 75 percent (15 million) and muslim population is 9.2 percent (almost 2 million). This is after many many centuries of co-existence.

For what you are saying to happen and srilanka to become a 'muslim country' , the bare minimum is for Muslims to have 13 million kids while sinhalese stop having kids altogether. Only then will it be even equal !!!! Please dont just give it in propaganda and hate speech and think !

Muslims have been living here for so long peacefully without any motive of 'taking over' or conquest or claim for homeland and all of a sudden BBS feeds you bull and you drink it !

Will you allow your daughter to marry a Sinhalese boy?
Will you allow your son to marry Sinhalese girl and let her be Buddhist Sinhalese after marriage?

Your religion may be Islam but you are a Sri Lankan....
You don't need Arab clothes to wear and act like Arabs, be Sri lankans, wear like other Sinhalese and be like them... You don't have to be different physically be a Sri lankan, internally pray what ever god you like and practice what ever religion you want

Firstly , Thank you for being respectful ! It means a lot.

I thinks its wrong to assume like that about the initial percentile given that we do no have any numbers.For that many centuries we have always remained a minority and we are still doing the same. If you think that there is a conspiracy within the Muslim community (like the BBS advocates) to produce 13mill kids to cover the gap and take over the country then you are misinformed.

It is in our religion to be productive and do good for society where ever you may be and as srilankan Muslims I believe we have been doing so , except for a few black sheep.If your requirement is to lose our identity and assimilate into the general then it is like you as asking to lose our cultural identity.

How much one wants to follow his religion is ones personal choice as long as it doesn't infringe on others rights. If you believe that some minorities are asking for unfair privileges then there is the court of law and legislation to sort it out , not spread incitement and violence and take matters into own hands.

Correct me if I am wrong , but aren't the Sinhalese also from King Asoka who came from india ? Were not the vedhas here before them too ?
