This census was taken privately in 2008 by student of Colombo University, by an Eastern Sri Lankan, who is currently a practising doctor in a government hospital.
The Sri Lankan government always presents a false census.
For the last 70 years, since Sri Lankan independence, Muslims have always been shown as 10% on the census.
However, in the last 70 years Muslim people marry young and have an average of 3 children with the wife looking after the kids. Singhalese people marry older, and have been shown to have fewer children, since both husband and wife are working with no time for children.
Sri Lankan Muslim’s are not below Sinhalese people.
During the war time, Tamil people kicked out from north part of Sri Lanka migrated to western world and settled there. Therefore because of Tamil migration, Muslims become in Sri Lanka now holds the second largest population majority.
If Sri Lankan Muslim’s avoid voting in the upcoming election, you will see the true census differ from previous results, which easily highlights our true numbers and difference.
