I've seen many bots posting in Elakiri for several months. The thing why this happens is that when bots try to post threads, there is no way EK can track its a bot.

Instead, we can implement a captcha at new threads and replies. it would be ideal if there is one in quick reply as well. Where we can enter the quick reply, enter the small capcha and then click post!

This would reduce the number of Bots and spam in our site and there will be less people commenting with things like "Danne na" or "no idea" in Help sections. They either do it to increase their number of posts or just for the sake of posting.!

What are the limitations, objections in this opinion?

    Good point.

I'm not saying we can stop spammers. I've seen situations where bots themselves have crunched a damn hard to read image capcha. But what I'm proposing is to reduce the numbers.

There are people in EK as well as bots, I agree to that. I've seen some like that too.

    any alternative machan?

    Won't work machan.

Spammers don't use bots in ElaKiri a lot. Main spammers are human entities. They can simply go through captcha by entering the string visible.

Implementing a captcha system would only increase the hassle for forum posters from my opinion. Some posters may not even post due to the additional hassle they have to go through. Even I might not post if there is a captcha verification for each and every post.

In help, if you see danne na, don't know sorta replies simply you can negate the reputation points of the poster even though the rep points doesn't have a tangible meaning. But I have seen some young ElaKiri members go after rep points like they are the most valuable thing in life  So give it a try :)
