Dieing hard disk, faulty RAM, overheating CPU or even a faulty power supply which can't take the load the the PC is drawing.

Overheating has many variations. Most CPUs can work even at 90C without freezing or rebooting (even though it will damage the CPU).

He he! Sometimes lose connections in the cards inside also causes these type of things... Or it may be the mobo too... well, actually it can be any thing inside... when you restart, ds it some times give beeps... if so, refer your manual n c! if not! well! he he! try out removing each card, these days computers hardly have much.. he he.. like the modem.. n so.. if u have more thn 1 RAm remove either one n test cause faulty RAMs are well known to cause this type of things... n so on! he he! hope u'll figure out whts happened!
