nope,LED got more life time and less energy consumption than CFL
to save energy you can even flicker LED at higher rate,may be using a SMPS

new LEDs has more than 100 lumen per watt. so, 10W=~1000 lumen

when compare with CFL, 1100 Lumen for 23W

However I don't know its practical use

OOooo machn uba sirawatama mehema kathakarana eka pudumai eken kiyanna puluwan uba me subject eka danna kiyala vitharai..u know I'm using my leds for my whole house I have reduce 25 units from one month...& all the guys who used this told me they redused their elec. bill
So thats why I'm telling that u are not aware of what LED can do....
Another thing machn if u need to ude CFL, please do not bye cheap ines..buy 5 star cfl bulbs which are the ones, can only reduse your elec.bill but they are much cost than the normal...
If know any thing about measuring power consumption, please check u\your cfl light & led lamp power or If you like buy one frm me & check what is the truth...

I never found cree leds local market

Yap I'm not the importer machn..a guy I know who imports them, I'm just buying from him..They are normally expensive...

Electronic balasts are sucks. most of them built cheap low quality products and has very limited lifespan. and energy saving only 2-3W per tube compared with electrical balast

For garden lamps, night lamps, architectural lamps - LEDs are best and saves lot of energy. however, LEDs still can't beat the HID lamps (like Xenon arc lamps / metal halide lamps)

machn I'm not using 7W leds for the bulb..I'm using 124super flux cree leds for my tube light.When I measure the wattage(power) it reads as nearly 7W...Thats why I'm telling that it is about 7W...
mama lumen gana manne nam na machn...but the light condition is typically equal to the 25W cfl light condition...
Buy one from me & check weather that is true or false....
