Well, Scientists focuses on facts. However, facts are irrelevant for a debate. In order to win a debate, you simply need to memorize some rhetorical devices. But, those rhetorical devices do not add any logical force to your arguments. Plus, debates should be good-natured. It is, indeed, extraordinaraly difficult to expect a good-natured debate from a person who was arrested and sentenced for creating an illegal organization intended for crimes.
