Why don't schools encourage tablets as a notebook replacement? We live in a digital world

This method is good. but I'm sure we don't have enough raw materials(elephant poop). We should try with cow dung.

Anyway using tablets should be the way forward. BUT I'm pretty sure even after we recover from this economic crisis, Sri Lankan educational authorities will not introduce tablets to school curriculum. Because its the old (about to retire) traditional thinking guys take decisions.
