r8wk8l.jpg

Personal Antivirus is a phony antivirus program, or a rogue anti-spyware application. This fake spyware remover is a parasite that is designed to scam people out of their money using scare tactics. Personal Antivirus should not be trusted, do not buy this corrupt software

Like most rogue antispyware and rogue antivirus software, Personal Antivirus uses Trojans to infect PC after PC. Once Personal Antivirus makes its way onto a computer it will continually bombard the user with false and misleading security alerts in the form of pop-ups, system scan results and warnings that look very similar to windows system alerts. All this in an effort to make people think they need to buy Personal Antivirus to clean their computers. Unfortunately after the corrupt software is purchased it is completely useless

Personal Antivirus is made by the same jerks who make other nasty rogue security software including; Antivirus 2009

Antivirus 2009 uses Trojans to spread from computer to computer. These Trojans are usually found on porn and warez websites disguised as video codec. Once Antivirus 2009 infects a computer it floods the user with popup and fake system notifications, all in an attempt to frighten the user into thinking their computer is infected with spyware and they need to buy Antivirus 2009 to clean their machines. While the system at hand may indeed be infected, Antivirus 2009 will inform the user of this regardless of whether it's true or not

Symptoms of an Antivirus 2009 infection may include redirecting web browsers to websites that sell the malware, PC slowness, annoying pop-ups that are constant, non-stop security warnings and the users desktop may become hijacked. Personal information is always at risk of being stolen with the presence of Antivirus 2009 as well

Antivirus 360 is a fake antispyware software, or a rogue antispyware, designed to rip people off. Antivirus 360 uses scare tactics to frighten people into purchasing the software, which is completely useless

Antivirus 360 makes its way from PC to PC via the Vundo Trojan. The Vundo Trojan will display a ton of pop-ups stating that the computer is infected and that the user should install Antivirus 360 in order to protect the PC from infection. If users click on the ad, Antivirus 360 will be downloaded and installed onto the computer

Once installed, Antivirus 360 will be configured to start automatically when Windows is started, this will cause the PC to run very slow and sluggish. Antivirus 360 will perform a system scan and display a report with a list of legitimate or nonexistent files as infections that cannot be removed unless the user purchases the program. What is so dangerous about these scan results is that the files that Antivirus 360 states are infections are actually legitimate Microsoft files, that if deleted, will cause Windows to become unusable. Antivirus 360 will also display a constant barrage of false security alerts stating that the computer has a variety of security risks. These risks range from files being modified to private data being sent to a remote host. These alerts, though, are false and are only being shown to further scare people into thinking their computer is infected, when in fact the Antivirus 360 program is the actual infection

TotalSecurity is a fake antispyware software, also known as a rogue antispyware. Total Security is a clone of Antivirus 360, another rogue antispyware that has infected countless PC, using scare tactics to goad people into buying this corrupt software

Total Security makes its way from PC to PC with the help of Trojans that display fake security alerts about threats and then installs Total Security without user permission. Once installed, Total Security will scan the computer and display a variety of infections that cannot be removed until the user purchase the program. These infections, though, do not really exist and are being shown to scare people into purchasing the program

Total Security is a nasty parasite that will constantly barrage the user with nag screens and fake security warnings about problems on the computer. All these fake security alerts and warnings are an attempt to scare people into purchasing the program. Total Security will also display a window labeled Total Security Protection Center that impersonates the legitimate Windows Security Center. This protection center states that the computer has no protection and recommends that you purchase Total Security. You should not purchase anything from this company
