A Colombo Royal college teacher was killed in an accident at Dhiwala today morning, Police said.
The victim was identified as Piyal Mohotti, 54.
Police said that a car travelling from the direction of Mt. Lavinia had hit Mr. Mohotti close to a pedestrian crossing near the Willam Grinding Mill junction on Galle road.

well my dad had been passing dat way tday morning a few mins after da accident and had seen dat da police had caught a blue jaguar car which had come really fast. really feel sorry for these ppl who get killed due to sum person who is out of his head and has a lot of mney. they think dat they own da roads and even if sumthing happens they can easily get away. i wont be surprised if dis person who was driving this car was not charged wit murder or even for driving so fast altho there is a traffic light near it.
