they were once 65 for 5 n the nineth wicket partnership waws 81.
Charith Fernando scored a superb century of 137 with more than 15 boundries, boundries full of class!! Wht more magnificient abt z dat he delivered it whn the team asked frm him! UNDERPREASSURE!!!
Least but not las Royalist did well w/ the ball as they resrict Thora 4 jst 198!!!

royal were leading the game only in the post lunch sessions of thursday & friday.

Remember that STC bowled well to reduce Royal to 75 odd for 5 wkts on first day.It was only charith's knock which can be called a positive for RC in this match

Even on Friday STC was batting well in the beginning but after the luch break v started losing wickets to end the day at 181/9.Even then,Royal couldn't break the last wicket partnership which went on for 58 runs after the 9th wicket fell at 141

The whole saturday belonged to STC undoubtedly when our bowlers broke through 6 wickets in 1 session & did well enough not 2 lose a wicket to get 59 runs till rain saved Royal cos 243 is not impossible to get in 60+ overs in a good batting track like SSC
So how can u say that RC was leading in the match??

It was only Charith's awesom knock(I have to admit,it was a superb knock) which saved Royal in this match & prevented the win tally from becoming 35-32 in favour of STC.
So all who are thinking that others are "THAIPONGAL"!! i'm sure was too drunk & sleeping in the ground to know what happened on the field

I never said its 35-32.All I said was it would have become 35-32 if it weren't for the rain.
The count is 34- 32 Bro.Just check the official website for the big match www.royalthomian.info.
All the statistics are given in that site.have a look cos all the royalist seem to be confused about the number of wins.
Even the Royal Souvenier have got it confused about it cos last years RC souvenier has given it as 33-32 & after we won the match last time,how did the royal tally become 33 all of a sudden??

IN THIS YRS ROYAL SOUVENIR DA TALLY SAYS ITS 33:34 AND 61 DRAWS. AND DAT ADS UPTO 128. SO AS DA 9 RUN MATCH IS A THORA VICTORY DA TALLY SHOULD STAND AT 33:35 AND 60 DRAWS. AND WITH TODAYS RESULT DA TALLY NOW STANDS AT 33:35 AND 61 DRAWS WHICH ADDS UPTO 129.

yeah machan.It has stated that if one team walks off the field or does not turn up,the match is deemed to be forfited & the other team is given the victory

The same thing happened in last years controversial Pakistan vs England test match when the umpires awarded the match to England when pakistan refused to take the field in protest
So the 9 run match was won by STC hands down & there need to be no confusion at all about it
