they do, definitely, they paint wat they have in context of their lives.. but to the viewer, who doesn't know crap about starry nights, do u think he knows that this is a view from an asylum window...

wats more important in painters view is, motivation to do the paining and trying sth actually worthwhile...not the context in the painting...
context matters to the public..
thats my idea miss...
