SAITM founder Dr. Neville Fernando has passed away
Dr. Neville Fernando, the founder of Neville Fernando Teaching Hospital & the controvecial South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM) has passed away.
He was being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
After testing positive for the virus, Dr. Fernando had been under medical care at the ICU of the Neville Fernando Teaching Hospital, he was later transferred to the ICU of the IDH.
