At the end the big Toru & Moru will slip out of the net just like Sakwithi did and Halmasso will end up in jail. Many who slip out will spend their money in the same ways they earned using the same mouth of the well to get out of the well they slipped into.
And there wer placards with the protestors asking for Kesara who was in the ill-famous photo with Mahinda and poor fellow Edwin... Kesara said to be the second in command...

It is a very interesting coincidence that many Second-in-commands are linked to Mahinda directly or in indirectly. Maddumaya, the Dangaya seems to be Mahinda's favorite.

Perhaps the Second-in-command is the easiest to capture by an enemy... In most cases he is the most frustrated, anxcious and power hungry member of the lot. Always convinced that he can do better than the leader.... in most cases disillusioned.. but powerful enogh to harm a lot as a traitor. He is very useful to the enemy for he knows secrets and strategies of his leader.. He can imagine what would his former leader do before hand unless the endangered leader changes his locks after he lost the key.
JR was so shrewed that he made two strong competitors to his second-in-command Premadasa. If Karu had a competitor he would have thought twice. Perhaps Ranil too is following his uncle's steps bringing Sajith and SB both to the top position next to him.
